People want it all perfect. They do. We do. All of us.
Perfect social status: what a struggle would that be! To always have to please someone. Everyone! And on top of that, how would we teach our children to be themselves, creative, but kind and honest at the same time? How would we teach them to want to improve, but without an unbearable social pressure and endless judging eyes?
Perfect relationship: how on Earth are we supposed to label someone as “perfect for me” unless you firstly met the “unperfect ones”?
Perfect child: aren’t they all in a momma’s eyes?
Perfect household: is there a limit to reach? There is always at least one more flower to plant or one asshole neighbour to get rid of.
Perfect job: well we can’t all be heirs and heiresses
Perfect family: if you have a supportive one, than that’s already pretty close to perfect!

There are those days…ah, just those darn days! Nothing works as planned, or even worse – everything works exactly the opposite! And there’s no plan B..or C or D, for that matter… You see no way in which things can get better and the deadline was yesterday. You hate that ringtone you used to love, just because it’s stuck in your brain non-stop now and you can’t even tell when it really rings or it’s just your imagination.
Best thing you can do is go home, turn off the phone and grab a good book. Get comfortable in bed. Call your cat and pet it like there’s no tomorrow. This is what I do. It works. For a short time, but it does. Otherwise you might be tempted to cook and burn down the kitchen. or shop and spend all your money. Or maybe accept that dating invite from God knows whom you’ve been hiding from!
There are many types of people, therefore many types of imagination. Some have…limited brain possibilities and their imagination is like the thin summer clouds over a blue sky: thin, white, transparent and regular in shape, constant.
Sometimes it just seems that your happy ending will never come…that, in fact, there isn’t any… But that is wrong! we can all happy endings if we are able to open our hearts and love. Love the trees, the green grass, the rusty leaves in fall, snow, birds, love one another and learn to give meaning to what really matters. And while you follow that path, enjoy everything and relax, it is your journey to accomplishment and then you will have your happy ending…
