And here it is…the Romanian symbol of the beginning of spring: a red and white string, meant to announce the end of the winter and the beginning of luck and love, wealth and prosperous times for the ones wearing it. It is usually offered to women, attached to an small decorative object, like a broche, depicting everything from flowers, clovers or animals. That’s right, it is a “marțisor”. A lot of traditions go around this entirely Romanian tradition, but for me, the most important thing is that SPRING IS HERE! 😀

My Personal Home Decoration [flowers pot]

I have received a beautiful bouquet of flowers, mixed types, not very long ago. After just a couple of days, part of them died. Yep, this is what happens to flowers when they go into an indoor vase. Anyway…I could save some tiny colorful flowers from the original bunch and Ta Daaaa! They are dried out, in a natural process and will last for ages 😀
So before deciding to throw out a whole bouquet, see what you can save and get creative! ♥
