Last evening I met some friends and we started talking about animals and pets. One of them said quite an incredible story about her dog. Lisa (the doggy) got angry at my friend because she was left outside the tent one night when they went camping and for a whole week ignored all the commands and calls. Lisa even refused to eat the food my friend gave, she only accepted water and treats from the other family members! It took my friend a lot attention and special treat to buy and give Lisa to make her forget about that camping night.
So it made me think… some animals not only have feelings of love and fidelity, but even self esteem and personal ego Never underestimate your pet!
“He’s dead, he’s dead!!!” Sometimes ferrets sleep so soundly that they seem to be dead. You can pick them up, shake them, pinch their toes, or thump them on the chest, and they hang from your hand as limp as rags, with their eyes closed. About the time you have run to the car on the way to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic, the ferret sleepily opens its eyes and looks innocently around, wondering what is going on.
Life is sometimes a view. It’s how we create it, how we see it, how we want it to be. Maybe not ideal at all times, but a person dies slowly when tv becomes a guru, when one doesn’t read, listen to music, take walks, enjoy small things… Life always comes as a package of joys and sorrows, it’s up to us what we focus on more.
This video was made by my friend Julien. He is a wonderful person and very missed at the moment. If you watch this, thank you Julien. For all my friends online, cherish life, cherish Earth and friendship. Don’t forget to love.
We hear about talking birds, we see them, we look how cute some act but have you ever seen a bird to think it’s a dog? Well here’s one who has that feeling. Playing basketball, golf, playing dead and many other tricks, you name it. Smart, huh?
I sit at my desk, with a candle lit
Since you joined the navy, I can’t rest a bit.
It is close to midnight, and I miss you so
I wish you’d come back and then never go.
Our garden’s blooming, with the roses red,
Like the ones you gave me… remember? When we met…
Your mom caught a cold, but she said “Don’t worry
My son, focus there, and return in glory!”
Now I write again, this is my fifth letter
Do you know a way how to make this better?
Darling there’s no way for me to ease this pain
Since you joined the navy, it all seems in vain.
I stare at your picture, every single day
You’re close in my heart, but so far away…
Did your captain say when you can come home?
Darling you must ask, I feel so alone!
But what’s wrong with me, this is the fifth letter
That I write to you, and I don’t feel better…
All I do is write and then pile them in a box
The war is long over, but your ship hit rocks…
Darling how I miss you, since you joined the navy,
And you’ll never know that we have a baby…
Hope is a very friendly and playful dog and he found the perfect friend: his name is Carl and he’s a turtle. Sometimes they hang out together, taking walks and chitchatting, like animals do… But sometimes I get the feeling that this friendship is based on interest, as Hope has become a kinda lazy lately… Or maybe Carl decided to work out and get more muscular and Hope is helping… I can’t tell for you. You decide!
The word “hippopotamus” has its origins in the Ancient Greek and it means “river horse” and it is one of the largest mammals living on land today (after the elephant and the white rhino). The hippo is a semi-aquatic animal (living in rivers and lakes) and mostly feeds on plants. The have no fur, but a thick shiny skin and enormous mouth and teeth.
Looking from FurryTalk’s point of view, the hippo is a barrel shaped mammal, with Shrek ears and a square funny snout. It has a shiny look due to his playful character which he loves to develop in water. It also have cute round eyes and… adorable babies!!! Since the hippo is such a wonderful animal, I gathered here 25 pictures of the cutest baby hippos ever! Enjoy!
A pair of fluffy owl siblings were almost crushed to death there was a nest built on top of them. The tiny Tawny chicks had their nest engulfed when the larger birds decided they made for perfect soft bedding. But the plucky birds were rescued by animal experts from the Scottish SPCA, who said they found them “left for dead”.
This cute dog’s owner has built a machine which tosses balls so the little guy can play fetch with himself all day long. Look at him go, over and over again! A dog’s life without a play mate is only boring if you are a dull non-creative doggy
